Portraits

As I was photographing Lilly, I was playing with light and eye contact. In a couple of photos, I had her look directly at the camera, and in others look away. This picture specifically, shows her happy personality. She is laughing and I love the fact that the light is right on her face and her head is turned away.

When taking this photo, I was incorporating the "Rule of Thirds." Lilly is not directly in the center of the shot which pulls the whole picture together. I also think that the light is really unique in this photo. The light off of her hair is so pretty. Again, in this photo I had Lilly look away from the camera. It's almost like I caught her off guard. Personally, I really like this photo.
