This photo is a example of background simplified because the viewer automatically focuses on the flower itself and nothing in the background.  The blurred background is what makes the background simplified and not included.  If the background was included, the viewer's focus would not just be on the flower alone.  I really love this photo because of the bright orange color.  It causes the object to stand out even more.
